Breeding champions for over 30 years.

Caledonia Kennels has been successful in many different breeds. Our goal was never to see how many puppies we could produce or how many champions would have our name on them. It was to produce a better dog.

We believe the health of the dog comes first. This can be combined with proper breed type. We don't rest on the laurels of any one dog or try to re-write the standard. Our mission is to bring respect and recognition to the mastiff in the working group. This has been done with several different Best In Show winners.

We breed on occasion for placement in select homes and will always take one back, no questions asked. Not all of the dogs listed on our webpage live here. We co-own most so that they live happy, healthy lives in a home environment.

Congratulations to Pamela Reid of Caledonia for Co-breeding the 2004 MCOA Best of Opposite Sex Winner "Smooch", as well as the 2002 & 2003 MCOA National Specialty Winner "Ivana".

Watch for our newest addition, a Pointer to take the lead. At 7 months of age Ch. Kinnike Josh finishes his championship in style as he goes Winners Dog and wins the Sweepstakes at the Pointer Club of America National Specialty.
